Why going there
Marco Galli opened this place in 1986 with chef Lorenzo Battarra, with the idea of a pub with a small cuisine. Since then it underwent constant changes, annual improvements and restyling, now they disassembled and reassembled a typical heating stove called ‘stua’(usually located in the main room of a typical mountain lodge) in the pub and named it Stua da Pedro. In 1998 Marco Galli’s son Christian took over and introduced some typical Italian regional dishes, English breakfast as well as sandwiches and hamburgers in order to satisfy the demands of foreign tourists. Foreign tourists usually end up preferring the local cuisine and its wines once they try it. The menu offers traditional Italian dishes like: lasagna, ‘pasta e fagioli’, the elephant ear cutlet and tripe, as well as classical local dishes from the territory. The big wooden tables at the entrance encourage conviviality.
