On Monday, Plaza Placheda will host a training day for hospitality schools and food enthusiasts, featuring Michelin-starred chefs paying tribute to Mattias Peri and the Sc'còla da cós̩gina. On Tuesday, the magic continues with a food and wine journey through the charming Tee of Livigno in Val Federia, offering a unique experience amid snow and authentic flavors. The Associazione Mattias offers hospitality schools and all culinary enthusiasts a unique training opportunity with renowned chefs and local culinary experts at Plaza Placheda.

Some of Italy’s greatest chefs will share their stories, keeping alive the memory of Mattias Peri, the legendary Chef of Livigno, who masterfully enhanced the flavors of his mountains—the Rhaetian Alps and Valtellina.

29 of April - Snow Food Mattias

Snow Food Mattias will offer a unique food and wine experience in the enchanting Val Federia. A gastronomic journey through the ancient Tee of Livigno, with stops at five mountain huts, where Michelin-starred chefs will present signature dishes paired with the finest Valtellina wines. Groups will depart every 30 minutes from Aquagranda, take a shuttle to Calcheira, and continue on foot with expert guides, while Associazione Mattias shares its story. The return journey will follow the cycle-pedestrian path. A must-attend journey through flavors and nature!

Tuesday, 29 of April

Where: Val Federia
Registration fee: €80.00

Program:
- Departures start at 08:30, with a group of 50 people every 30 minutes from the Aquagranda parking lot.
- After reaching Calcheira by shuttle, participants will continue on foot, guided by a mountain guide or trekking escort, to explore Val Federia.
- Along the route, members of Assiociazione Mattias will share insights about the association's story. The journey includes stops at five mountain huts, where three renowned chefs at each stop will present their signature dish, paired with wines from Valtellina wineries.
- At the end of the experience, participants will return independently to Aquagranda along the cycle-pedestrian path.
