MILANESIANA

Where

Plaza Placheda, Livigno

Milanesiana returns to Livigno with many cultural events. Prestigious names from the Italian cultural scene and beyond will perform in Livigno with concerts, speeches and high-profile contributions.

THE EVENT

La Milanesiana was founded in 2000 in Milan, on the initiative and under the direction of Elisabetta Sgarbi, as a "laboratory of excellence" that brings together literature, cinema, music, art, science and philosophy. It hosts internationally renowned figures such as Nobel Prize and Oscar winners. This year’s edition explores the theme “Intelligence – Soul of the World and Virtue to Cultivate”: a concept with broad meaning, endless contexts, and multiple nuances. A virtue we all possess, but have the responsibility to nurture and exercise both organically and morally.

The Rose painted by Franco Battiato, symbol of La Milanesiana, is tinged this year with shades of blue, reimagined by Franco Achilli — a color associated with logic, calm, and reliability, conveying serenity and hope. In addition to Livigno, La Milanesiana takes place in 19 Italian cities, uniting Literature, Music, Cinema, Science, Art, Philosophy, Theatre, Law, Economics, Sport, and Comics.
