The short race will start at the Aquagranda sports centre in Livigno, and then cross the town centre, passing on the main road, to reach the Forcola Pass, and thus enter Switzerland. From there, an impressive and technically challenging stretch over the Bernina Pass, including the last, very hard hairpin bends. Descent along the Engadine, to Zernez, then up to the Passo del Forno, final crossing of the Munt La Schera tunnel and finish at Mottolino, retracing the iconic climb of the Giro d'Italia 2024.

Commitment that practically doubles for the long course, the most eagerly awaited and spectacular one. The same identical start as for the short course, with Aquagranda and the town centre to welcome the riders, but a track that then steepens in terms of difficulty and technical complexity. First the Umbrail Pass, just below the Stelvio, then a descent to Bormio, where the route leads to Foscagno. From here, a breathtaking double with two giants of our cycling: the Foscagno Pass and the Eira Pass, from where the final ascent to Mottolino takes place, retracing the iconic climb of the Giro d'Italia 2024.

In Livigno, Alé la Merckx is enriched with a novelty: it is also possible to participate with an ebike! Ebike fans will be able to take part in the mediofondo course, experiencing the excitement of the race in a breathtaking setting. This participation will be without ranking, but all participants will receive a race packet. Join us for an unforgettable experience in the mountains of Livigno, full of sport and fun!
