Scheduled from March 9 to 13, the FIS World Cup Finals for Aerials and Moguls will serve as a test event for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

Livigno, 26/02/2025 – The Olympic spirit is truly starting to take hold in Livigno, where as many as 26 Olympic titles in snowboarding and freestyle will be awarded in 2026. The journey towards the Games is now in full swing, thanks to the FIS World Cup Finals for Aerials and Moguls—two of the disciplines that will take center stage at the Five Rings event in the 'Little Tibet' in less than 12 months.

For the occasion, the world's best athletes will gather in Livigno and compete at the Livigno Aerials & Moguls event, delivering a spectacular five-day competition. This event will be crucial in determining the final standings of the World Cup in these disciplines and will also mark the first-ever test of the Olympic venue for the 2026 Games —the first to be officially handed over to the Milano Cortina Foundation.

A true  'dress rehearsal' of what’s to come, allowing athletes to familiarize themselves with the venue and Livigno’s facilities, while giving organizers the chance to test everything that has been built and planned so far. It will also be a unique opportunity for fans and enthusiasts to start experiencing the Olympic atmosphere firsthand.

For the occasion, the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) has decided to set up Casa Italia at the Aquagranda center. This project, strongly supported by CONI in Livigno, aims to create an institutional space that will be replicated during the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics.

A packed schedule kicks off with two days of training on Sunday, March 9, and Monday, March 10, followed by three key competition days. On Tuesday, March 11, the Moguls event will open the action, with qualifications starting at 9:00 AM, followed by the men's and women's finals at 12:30 PM. The next day, Wednesday, March 12, will feature the Dual Moguls competition, with qualifications again at 9:00 AM and finals at 12:30 PM. The event will conclude with Aerials on Thursday, March 13, with qualifications at 9:00 AM and finals starting at 12:30 PM. Each of the three competitions will be followed by the Official Medal Ceremony.
