19 MAY, MANERBA DEL GARDA-LIVIGNO
On 19 May we will witness the great return of the Giro to Livigno! Departure from Lake Garda and arrival at altitude, in what will be one of the main Olympic venues of Milan Cortina 2026, a highly symbolic and highly spectacular choice! In fact, the arrival will be at altitude, at Mottolino, at 2400 metres of altitude: the very tough final act of the stage after 220km and a good 5,200m of elevation gain, the highest of the entire race.

OPEN VILLAGE GIRO D'ITALIA: an area open to the public where the sponsor companies of the Giro d'Italia carry out a series of promotional activities to make themselves known. The ideal place to spend pre-arrival and pre-departure moments with dedicated entertainment that entertains young and old with music and games.
FANFARE OF THE BERSAGLIERI AND EXHIBITION OF THE LIVIGNO FOLK GROUP
CAROVANA PARTY: the highest artistic expression of the Giro D'Italia. 40 artists will perform with the colours and gadgets of the pink race.

20 MAY, REST DAY
20 May will be the caravan's rest day in Livigno, so what better occasion to tell you some history? The pink jersey had already passed through Livigno in the past, now we tell you more! The first time was in 1972, with the arrival of the Parabiago - Livigno stage on 7 June, and with the start of the Livigno - Passo dello Stelvio, the following day. It was a real piece of cycling history. That year it was the Belgian Eddy Merckx who won the stage and dominated the entire edition unchallenged. The Giro had then returned to Livigno in 2005, on the occasion of the MTB World Championships, with the Egna - Livigno stage won solo by Colombian Ivàn Parra. That Giro ended with the victory of Paolo Savoldelli! How will this Giro 2024 go?

MUSICAL SHOW, THE KOLORS: two hours of music with one of the most famous bands of the moment, who will be accompanied at the opening by young emerging singers from the national music scene. Free event.
21 MAGGIO, LIVIGNO-VAL GARDENA
On 21 May, the start is planned in the direction of Val Gardena. The new stage will start from the Aquagranda and will also include the mythical Stelvio Pass. A very intense programme, which will allow Livigno to embrace the Giro and all its protagonists: from the teams to the riders, from the experts to the fans, for whom three days of great entertainment and side events will be planned, the perfect way to dive into the spirit and atmosphere of the most famous race in Italy.

RELAX IN AQUAGRANDA
On the occasion of the Giro d'Italia, Aquagranda opens its doors to the public to welcome all racers, fans and amateurs to Livigno.
Aquagranda is one of the largest aquatic centres in Europe. Here, the little ones can play safely among water castles, maxi slides and baby pools in the Slide&Fun area with animators. While adults can bask in the wellness area among whirlpools and saunas.
