The Criterium Nazionale Cuccioli is an unmissable event in the world of youth skiing. Focused on the ski cross and slalom categories, the Criterium is one of the most prestigious competitions for young Italian athletes born in 2013 and 2014. It offers a unique opportunity to put their skills to the test in high-altitude settings, surrounded by an enthusiastic audience and industry experts.

THE RACES

The main races will be divided between ski cross and slalom, offering different types of challenges. In ski cross, athletes will compete on an obstacle course featuring turns, jumps, and fast sections, where, in addition to technique, quick reflexes and physical endurance are essential.Slalom, on the other hand, will test skiers’ precision and speed, with closely spaced gates requiring millimeter-perfect control of turns.

Race 1 – Slalom for U10 (born in 2014), followed by Race 2 – Slalom for U10 (born in 2014) at SITAS ski area
Skicross Race for U11 (born in 2013) at Valandrea ski area
3:30 PM – Meet at the Coop for the Opening Ceremony, with the parade of regional teams to the Town Square
5.30 PM - 6.30 PM Race office at Aquagranda
6:30 PM – Meeting with all regional managers for test planning at Aquagranda
