Date on 22 July, in Little Tibet, for one of the most impressive half marathons of the entire circuit
The appointment is set for Saturday 22 July, with the tried and tested start in Aquagranda, the Livigno Olympic Preparation Centre, which, just like last year, will also be the finishing point of the loop designed by the organisers. A course that, given the approval expressed by the athletes who participated in the 2022 edition, remains practically unchanged. The first part of the race, exactly half, i.e. 10.5 kilometres, will be run on the cycle track that runs along the entire village, while the final part, also 10.5 km long, will instead take the competitors on the dirt paths that climb the mountain, crowning Livigno from above.
The altitude profile of the competition includes a positive delta of about 200 metres, with the start taking place at the 'traditional' 1800 metres of Livigno, and with a maximum altitude touched along the way of about 2030 metres. An immersive journey, experienced in contact with nature and with a strong impact on the landscape.
An experience that, at the end of the race, will also be enriched by the pasta party and the prize-giving ceremony at Plaza Placheda: the perfect opportunity to share the moment with other participants and to enjoy Livigno's hospitality. And with a view to promoting the sharing and enjoyment of sport, this edition will once again feature the format of the relay race for two, which will allow pairs of runners to equally divide the 21 km, and experience an afternoon as a true team.
Registration will be open from today, 10 March, until 15 June, with the first registration fee of € 35.00. Then, until 20.07 the fee will be € 40.00, and from 21.07, in this case only at the race office, it will rise to € 45.00.
